Colt 45's Win DET World Series Championship

The Colt 45's beat Sulphur Springs 14-8 in the World Series final to be champions of the Spring 2009 season. Wilson Powell hit the first ever Colt 45's home run in the final to spur a come from behind victory. Great job Colts!

Colt 45's Win DET Regular Season Title

The Colt 45's finished with a 9-1 league record giving them first place in the Deep East Texas 10U league.

Colt 45's in First Place

The Colt 45's are in first place heading into the seventh and final week of DET league play. The Colt 45's finish league play against the Hawkins Ambassadors. Winning both games will ensure a first place league finish and give the Colt 45's a strong entry into the DET World Series.

The Colt 45's won 3 games on Sunday to capture the Longview Super Series Qualifier championship.

DET League Schedule

The Deep East Texas Baseball Association league schedule has been posted. The Colt 45's will face the Hawkins Ambassadors in a double header on March 28th at 2:30 in Hawkins.

Nacogdoches Super Series Tournament

The Colt 45's are registered to play in the Nacogdoches Super Series Tournament on Feb 28th-Mar 1st. A block of rooms is reserved at the Hampton Inn. Games will be held at the Nacogdoches Baseball Complex.

Piney Woods Baseball Spring Swing

The Colt 45's are registered to play in the Piney Woods Baseball Spring Swing Tournament to be held March 21-22 in Longview, TX. The Tournament will be held at the new Lear Park.
